Aastha Parsa, MD
Dr. Parsa is Board Certified in Nephrology and Board Certified in Internal Medicine.
Dr. Parsa is deeply committed to improving the overall wellbeing of her patients by providing comprehensive and empathetic care. She hopes to make a difference in the life of every patient she sees and works to ensure that they have better health outcomes. Dr. Parsa believes that the best outcomes in kidney care are achieved by ensuring that patients have a good understanding of their kidney health options and making sure during each visit that any questions patients have get answered in a thoughtful and thorough fashion including, increasing awareness about home dialysis and kidney transplant options. Dr. Parsa feels it’s a great privilege to be able to help others when they are at their most vulnerable.
Dr. Parsa completed her nephrology training at the John Hopkins University School of Medicine in Baltimore, MD after finishing internal medicine residency at Wayne State University in Detroit, MI, and medical school at the All-India Institute of Medical Sciences, in New Delhi, India. Dr. Parsa also completed a fellowship in Integrative Medicine at the University of Arizona in Tucson, AZ.
In her spare time, Dr. Parsa enjoys spending time with her family and friends, listening to good books and practicing yoga.
