Basudev Pudasaini, MD

Dr. Pudasaini is Board Certified in Nephrology and Board Certified in Internal Medicine.

Dr. Pudasaini is intrigued by the art and science of the field of nephrology and he has found his passion in managing chronic kidney disease by predominantly aiming to slow its progression. His multifaceted approach focuses on helping patients understand the complexity of kidney disease and its effect on other organs of the body. Dr. Pudasaini believes that through focused education, open communication with his patients and their families, and lifestyle changes, the disease trajectory can change. Dr. Pudasaini enjoys all aspects of nephrology care but takes a special interest in secondary hypertension and variety of glomerulonephrites.

He is an active member of the American Society of Nephrology, Renal Physician Association, National Kidney Foundation, and American Medical Association.

Dr. Pudasaini completed his Nephrology training at Westchester Medical Center at New York Medical College, Valhalla, NY after finishing Internal Medicine Residency from the same university. He completed his medical school from B.P. Koirala Institute of Health Sciences, Dharan, Nepal.

Outside of work, Dr. Pudasaini enjoys reading books, listening to podcasts on current events, biking and enjoying nature by hiking. He recently completed an 8-day hiking adventure to Annapurna Base Camp in Nepal, one of the most popular hiking destinations.
