Bishal Rawal, MD

Dr. Rawal has dual board certifications in Nephrology and Internal Medicine.

Dr. Rawal takes a holistic approach to the prevention and management of kidney disease and firmly believes that the best patient care comes from effective communication, education, and a focus on realistic personalized lifestyle intervention. He’s passionate about kidney transplantation and home dialysis therapies and has expertise in management of chronic kidney disease, hypertension and electrolyte disorders. He is an active member of the American Society of Nephrology and the Renal Physician Association.

Dr. Rawal completed his Nephrology training at Penn State University, Milton S. Hershey Medical Center in Hershey, PA after finishing Internal Medicine Residency at The Jewish Hospital in Cincinnati, OH. He completed his medical school training in his home country at B.P. Koirala Institute of Health Sciences in Nepal.

In his free time, Dr. Rawal enjoys playing tennis, physical fitness and has a great passion for music.
